Summery Mocktails with CBD
Mmm, mmm, summer! What better way to stave off the heat of the season with a refreshing summer sipper? While a cocktail can be a great way to unwind, we wanted to give you a recipe that’s totally family friendly. Besides, you can always adapt these to be alcoholic by spiking any of these options with your favorite liquor.
Here are a few of Bluebird’s favorite mocktail recipes for staying cool, refreshed, and CBD’d through the summer.
Pomegranate Droplet
Makes one mocktail.
Ingredients
- 1 shot of “non-alcoholic whisky” - 1 part non-alcoholic vanilla extract and 2 parts water.
- ½ cup lemonade
- ¼ cup pomegranate juice
- 0.5 mL of Bluebird’s THC-Free* CBD Oil
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker over ice, shaking vigorously. Shake and strain into glasses.
Citrus Breeze
Makes one mocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp peach nectar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- Splash of tonic
- 0.5 mL Bluebird’s Complete CBD Oil
Instructions
- Pour the peach nectar into the bottom of a glass with light ice.
- Combine orange juice, lemon juice, and Hemp Complete and pour over nectar.
- Add a splash of tonic water, and enjoy!
Wellness Shot
Makes one wellness shot.
Ingredients
- Splash ginger juice
- Splash lemon juice
- Splash turmeric juice
- Adaptogenic tincture of choice - here’s our favorite
- 0.5 mL Bluebird’s Complete CBD Oil
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a small shot glass, and enjoy.
Virgin sangria recipe
Yields one 4 quart pitcher of sangria.
Ingredients
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 3 cups red grape juice
- 1 cups white grape juice
- 1 ½ cups orange juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 liter bottle sparkling apple cider or seltzer water.
- 2 mL Hemp Classic CBD Oil
Instructions
- Stack two layers of fruit slices along the bottom of your 4-quart pitcher.
- Add in the white and red grape juices, orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice. Stir gently until well-mixed.
- Store in the refrigerator and let sit for 4+ hours.
- When serving, add in the sparkling cider or seltzer water, lightly stirring until mixed. Pour over ice to serve.
